The Shed Shop of Delmarva was born out of resilience, family values, and a passion for craftsmanship. In 2020 — during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic — Chris Barnes expanded his towing company into something new: transporting and eventually building high-quality, custom storage sheds for homeowners across Maryland and Delaware.
What started with hauling backyard buildings quickly turned into a locally trusted shed-building business. Chris had always been interested in carpentry, and this new direction allowed him to combine skill and service in a way that truly helps people reclaim their outdoor space.
As a family-owned and operated business, we believe in honest work, fair pricing, and treating every customer like a neighbor. We design and deliver sheds with care, offering both standard models and fully custom builds — from classic wood sheds to modern storage solutions.
We proudly serve the Delmarva Peninsula, including Salisbury, Easton, Seaford, Dover, and surrounding areas. Our prices include delivery and setup on cinderblocks within 25 miles, and we also offerstone foundations and rent-to-own options with no credit check.

For the walls, trim, and roof sheathing, we use premium LP® products specifically engineered for shed construction—offering strength, reliability, and long-term protection as well as industry leading warranties!.

While cinderblocks provide a stable footing for your shed, a properly excavated and compacted stone foundation offers the best long-term results. We stand behind the quality of our work with a 5-year craftsmanship warranty on every shed we build. In addition, all panels, trim, and roofing materials come with their own manufacturer warranties—for example, LP® SmartSide® products include a 5/50 year limited warranty for added peace of mind.
